Learn how to make a simple vector rainbow

step 1
open up a new image
take your shape tool and set it as a rectangle
draw a few horizontal stripes
make sure that the top stripe is is what you want your background color to be



Step 2
go to Effects--->Distortion Effects-->Polar Coordinates
select Rectagular to Polar and Color and then choose your background color



Step 3
now just cut part of your circle so that it is arched like a rainbow



Step 4 For the last step we are going to use the shape tool and select ellipse and draw a few circles to look like clouds
